I’m not this
I’m not daddy’s girl anymore,
Not this frame,
This perfect picture on the wall.
I gave up the dresses
The bows on my hair
And that cute little smile
I no longer have
It’s time to let me go
To be myself on my own
Just face reality
That I’m not who I use to be
I don’t sit on your lap
And want a fairy tale before bed
I grew up to be more
never more your little girl
